Flat and Boring.
I purchased a bulk impression of Sport Homme in a hundred-gram bottle and let it macerate for three full months before using it in July, but the final result is exceptionally boring and completely flat with absolutely no depth or nuance whatsoever, and within just thirty minutes of spraying it on my skin all I can smell is a generic citrus note while the heart and base accords are essentially completely absent, I really wanted to experience that rich resinous woody drydown with the smooth frankincense and amber that the community raves about in the reviews but this oil does not deliver any of that complexity at all, the supplier clearly did not even attempt to use the correct ingredients because they omitted the aldehydes and the elemi resin that provide the effervescent soapy lift and the piney depth of the authentic Sport Homme fragrance, the pink pepper in their formula smells purely like citrus rather than adding any spicy resinous character which is completely backwards from how the original perfumer constructed the scent, unlike the original masterpiece which has a luminous and airy quality that transitions into a darker woody base I find absolutely no sweetness no creaminess and no intriguing incense notes in this flanker, based on my experience I strongly advise anyone else to skip this impression because it lacks all the character and elegance that makes the real fragrance such an everyday staple, I am not going to use this anymore and the rest of the oil is going straight into the trash where it belongs.
